Where are you located?
We are conveniently located between Knaresborough and Boroughbridge in the village of Ferrensby. We have ample space for parking, and if you require a taxi home please do not hesitate to ask and we can arrange this for you.

Do you require a deposit?
In the bar and restaurant: for tables of 7+ we ask for a £25 deposit per head, which will be deducted from the total bill.
In Ralph’s: for tables of 6 or more we require a deposit of £25 per head, which will be deducted from the total bill.
In the hotel: we require a debit or credit card to secure the booking, and full payment is taken at the time of check-out.

What is your cancellation policy?
Guests can cancel free of charge up to 7 days prior to arrival.
Guests will be charged 50% of the first night’s stay if cancelling less than 7 nights prior to arrival and 100% of the first night’s stay if less than 48 hours’ notice is given.

For restaurant bookings, if a deposit has been taken and the table is cancelled, we reserve the right to return the value of the deposit as a Gift Voucher which will last for six months from the date of issue.

Do you accept children?
We accept children of all ages in the bar and restaurant.
Children aged 8 and over are welcome to dine in Ralph’s.
Children of all ages are accepted in the hotel; please let us know if you require a travel cot when making your booking.

Is there a dress code?
We do not operate a dress code for our bar and restaurant area.
For reservations in Ralph’s, we operate a smart-casual dress code.

Are you wheelchair-friendly?

Of course! We have ground-floor rooms available and our restaurant, bar, and Ralph’s are all wheelchair accessible. Please let us know when booking if you will require wheelchair access so we can accommodate you.

Do you allow weddings?

Unfortunately we do not host weddings at The GT.

Are dogs allowed?
Small, well-behaved dogs are permitted in the bar area only.
We apologise but we do not allow dogs in Ralph’s, the conservatory or in the hotel.

Do you accept American Express?
Yes, we do accept American Express.

Do you cater for all dietary requirements?
Absolutely. Please let us know any dietary requirements at the time of booking and we can make appropriate adjustments.
